Our meditation practice is centred on breath-work and mindfulness.
This involves practices that gently expand the breath in a non-strained fashion (diaphragmatic breathing) to help increase oxygen supply throughout your body, calming your heart rate, and inducing a relaxed state of mind and body. This relaxation technique can be self-administered and can be used to reduce pain, calm emotions, and induce sleep.
Mindfulness, the second step in this meditative process, involves sitting in the stillness of your mind, allowing your thoughts and internal dialogue to gently and progressively diminish whilst focussing on the meditation in order to enhance the space and clarity of your mind.
